Programmes

Results from Daphne study “Violence Prevention in Educational Institution “Kindergarten” – Present Approaches and Development Possibilities” (2008) underpins the evidence that in compulsory ECCE, there is a lack for holistic, meaning systematic, continuous, and sustainable approaches to PE & VP targeting simultaneously all important steak holders (teachers, children, parents, institution and community). Only very few programs have been research based developed and/or well evaluated. Studies with an international comparison of the prevention and promotion programmes are missing. There are no empirical or meta-analysis based quality criteria to assess or to develop such programmes.
